Toolbox talks (GT700/17)

Toolbox talks (GT 700) has been designed to assist supervisors at all levels to prepare and deliver effective toolbox talks on building and construction sites. It is the official supporting publication for the CITB Site Safety Plus Site supervisors' safety training scheme (SSSTS), a two-day course for first line managers and supervisors, and the one-day SSSTS refresher course.

Toolbox talks are an important method of both delivering advice on matters of health, safety and the environment, and to stimulate discussions, to obtain feedback, thus helping to maintain and improve standards.

•The content has been reviewed to ensure it reflects current legislation and good practice.

• Talks have been reordered to align with the topic order in other core publications.
• New images have been included throughout to enhance the audience-facing pages.

What are the system requirements?

PC download requirements:
Operating system: Windows® Vista (SP2), 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 (not Windows® RT)
Processor: Pentium® IV 1.5 GHz or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB
Hard drive: At least 4 GB free
Graphics: Any Direct3D 9 compatible graphics card (with at least 32MB of memory)
Screen resolution: Minimum of 1024 x 768
Internet: Required for software activation
NOTE: This application will not run on a Mac unless it is dual booting to a compatible Windows operating system using BootCamp (or similar).

iOS: The iOS viewer will work on any iPhone, or iPad with iOS version 9 or higher
Android: The Android viewer will work on any Android phone or tablet with Android version 4.1 or higher
OSX: The OSX viewer will work on OSX version 10.12.6 or higher

Online subscription requirements:

Are there any Format delivery notes?

Subscriptions - When you buy a full (12-month) subscription to one or more of our online versions they will be available to you on demand via our dedicated learning platform – GOLD (Gateway to Online Learning and Development).

You can buy a number of subscriptions that can be allocated to others. Once the purchase has been completed, you will be asked to provide the name and email address for each user. A GOLD login will then be created for them with appropriate permissions, and they will receive an email from GOLD with a set of instructions on how to access the product.

There are two types of subscriptions; single subscriptions that can only be accessed by a single user account, and concurrent subscriptions that can be accessed by multiple users at the same time.
