Why do I have to provide a security question?
The security question that you choose will be used by our Customer Services team to identify you if you contact them directly.
Are there any discounts available?
If you are a Levy registered company or an approved Site Safety Plus training provider, you are eligible for a 20% discount off the RRP prices of the publications.
In order to obtain this discount, you will need to provide us with either your Levy number or Site Safety Plus centre number when creating your on the CITB Shop.
What are your standard delivery terms?
All standard deliveries within the UK are free of charge, and we aim to deliver these orders within 10 working days.
We also offer an express delivery option which we aim to deliver within 3 working days, and this costs £20.
Will you deliver to overseas locations?
We will fulfill orders to overseas locations using a courier service and prices will be calculated based on the country of receipt and weight of the package.
To gain a price for delivery of an overseas order, please build you order, add the appropriate location details in the delivery section of the checkout process, and the delivery price will then be displayed in your basket.
Can I pay using a CITB Credit account?
The CITB shop will allow you to pay using your CITB credit account once it has been approved and linked to your shop account.
If you do not have a current credit account but you wish to apply for one, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a new credit account application form.
What does ‘Billing HTTP error’ mean?
If you are unable to place an order due to a ‘Billing HTTP error’ appearing it is likely you have added incompatible characters to either your billing or delivery address details on your account. When adding billing or delivery address details please ensure that you do not use any special characters e.g. ‘@’ ‘&’ or any brackets. Please ensure the address details are only completed using standard text.
If you receive the above error, please check all address details and amend accordingly to ensure you can complete your order.
Can I see all the orders placed on my account?
The CITB shop provides a full view of orders placed on your account. This information is located within your account dashboard under the ‘My Order History’ section.
What is the difference between an eBook (Individual) and eBook (Multiuser)?
The eBook individual is for individuals who require a single copy of a publication and there may also be instances where a company requires a single copy for business use. The eBook (multiuser) has been designed specifically for training providers who deliver CITB’s suite of Site Safety Plus courses and who wish to purchase multiple copies of the digital version of the publication instead of a hardcopy.
What is a corporate subscription?
The corporate subscription has been designed for the use of employers and there are purchasing options of 5, 25, 50, 100 and 250 users available. This means it is accessible to employers of all size. Access to the publications are managed by the employer through an administrator dashboard where they can be distributed to the users of their choice.
How do I allocate multiuser or corporate eBooks to the intended user?
eBooks are distributed to users through the HSE administrator dashboard which can be accessed by following this link.
If you have not accessed the dashboard previously you will receive an email providing you with instructions on how to log in to your account. If this email does not arrive please follow the link above to the HSE administrator dashboard and select ‘Resend activation email’.

Can I reallocate an eBook if I have allocated to the wrong person?
Yes, but only if the eBook is yet to be redeemed by the user. To reallocate navigate to the ‘users’ option, accessed from the menu located on the top right of the administrator dashboard, and click the cog icon on the eBook you would like to reallocate.
Can I track my delivery?
The publications are delivered by a courier, and the CITB shop will enable you to track their delivery by providing a tracking link. This information is located within your account dashboard under the ‘View Tracking Details’ section.
What should I do if my order hasn’t been delivered?
If your order hasn’t been delivered, please check the tracking information to ascertain the status of the order. If you have any concerns upon doing so, please email email@example.com or you can call them on 0344 994 4122 and they will be able to look into this further for you.
Can I cancel an order?
